About Feria Orchestra

Founded in 2023 and conducted by Stephan Dorré, the Feria Orchestra is a collaboration of professional and non-professional musicians and friends from Reading, Bristol and further afield. The orchestra celebrated its inaugural concert in January 2024 and performs regularly in the south of England.

Charlotte Newstead, soloist for our May 2025 concert, is a concert soprano based in the South West of England. She teaches classical singing to adults and children, provides vocal assistance and support for choirs, and runs classes in Music Appreciation.

Feria, meaning 'Festival' in Spanish, signifies celebration, and our aim is to inspire and entertain audiences through performing classical music in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you at one of our concerts soon!
